Human: Silence into Appearance

I heard myself proclaimed Human
By the act of birth.
What is it? Silence.
What is not? Appearance.

Human,
Complex vibration of the energy,
Organic chemistry experiment in the world’s laboratory,
Amalgam of extremes, concepts, and beliefs
Poured in the cup of identity
From which I drink every day to poison
The Silence
Into Appearance.

Hospice

I have to close my eyes to see, the tomorrow that will never be
For me, for you, for us.
What can I do?
Find a guru in the wisdom of time,
Find ourselves in a different life,
I’m afraid, I’m too scared
To see that you will not be.

In the hospice, I sit
In a white and cold room
Remembering the good days left behind,
And I try to open the window, but I can’t,
I can’t breathe, and I’m cold,
I already feel alone.

I’m holding your body, and I
Remember the memories,
Remember the voice,
Remember the touch,
The breath,
The kiss,
And the laugh.

And I’m shouting, I’m cursing, I’m angry,
I’m hurting, I’m burning, I’m crying,
I’m asking forgiveness,
I’m sorry.

What Is

Out of the faith that holds me here,
Thoughts are pouring into a clog,
I put “What Is” in front of them
To snake it out and clear the mind.

I am a line between two points,
Sometime a straight, sometime a curve,
And when I reach the ending point,
The pen will stop, refill, and start drawing again,
A new line.

I welcome whatever fears may show up
To this Circus of the Past,
I am the memory kept alive,
By the intrinsic motion of time.

In episodes of low destiny,
I have not turned my hope away,
I have not knelt for quick relief,
Nor betrayed my only soul.

I’m the buffalo running wild,
Chased by bullets, and worries, and fears,
Beneath the torment of blood,
My head is clear and triumphant.

I am the entity holding,
The pain at day, the relieve at night,
I am the foot and the head,
I am the bottom and the top,
I am a copy of yesterday,
Unskilled at birth, squeezed out of life at the end,
But still the holder of my remains.

I am the wall when I see the wall.
Day and night, I am awake,
I am the dreamer of this place,
A stable dream, but still a dream.

I am the influence of my life,
I am the keeper of my conditional mind,
Sometime I need an invitation for a reboot,
To inject “What Is” in front of everything.

Opposites and moments

Concepts:
Good, this, true, you.
Everything we know are concepts.
Every one of them has opposites:
Good and bad, this and that, true and untrue, I and you.
We either think in opposites, or we don’t think.

Written on the wall of our reality are opposites,
Reflected in stories and
Changes,
Many of them we can’t explain, but deeply feel in our
Moments,
Each one – an opportunity for
Awareness,
Our journey is a series of moments.

Easy is to look at others and
Be upset with their words and actions,
Going beyond the opposites and see that
People have their own path –
Whether we like it or not, that’s
Compassion.

The Beggar and the Masters

When the hope ends and the thought loses the sense of time,
When the existence shrinks to the point of nonexistence,
When the body in sunlight casts formless and infinite shadow,
He needs a change, a rebirth from his destiny.
He calls to the Masters; he kneels down before them,
A proud man once, a Beggar he is now.
Words, take them out from the prison of his mind
And throw them to the garbage,
Useless they are to beg for his own life
To the laughing Masters.

On the Road

The road that carries on my steps,
The road that carries on my thoughts,
My struggles, my victories, friends and enemies
The road has got me hypnotized.

Dust covers my sins,
Rain washes the guilt,
Sun warms my flesh,
Wind cools my head.

The hands of hundreds of people,
Every single one of them
Proof of a social existence,
Friends yesterday, enemies today.

Elders and youngsters sitting in front,
Passengers of a tired memory,
Gallant thoughts, a prize of thinking,
Or maybe a brain indigestion.

Wars and fights, wishes of hate,
Wounds still warm,
Pride and praise,
Madness left free on the road.

Teachings who make you feel neglected,
Experiences who make you feel deserted,
On the road, you may find the wisdom
Opposing the daily variation.

Smiles, thousands of them stolen,
Replaced by worries and fears.
On the road, thieves and traitors,
Profiting from anything.

The next time we meet
Come without anger,
Come without fear,
Or don’t come.

Oh, road, you and I made a pact
At the beginning of this quest,
You and I until the end
Through dust, and sun, and rain, and pain.

As I lay my soul to you,
Let me ride until I witness the abyss
With my own eyes,
Let me be the one who stops.

Look Into My Eyes – The Song

Look Into My Eyes – The Song

Here’s a new song that I just finished writing today. It’s called “Look Into My Eyes.”

First, it was the poem, the word, the poetic language (https://kreworld.com/look-into-my-eyes-the-poem/).
Second, it was the drawing, the visual (https://kreworld.com/look-into-my-eyes-the-drawing/).
Third, it was the music, the rhythm, the melody, the harmony (https://kreworld.com/look-into-my-eyes-the-music/).
And now it is the song. Write poetry, music, and alter the poem into lyrics (chorus ,verses, etc. ) to match the song setup. If necessary, slowly tweak the music.
The song is in a verse and chorus form. Stanzas are mapped to verses, but with some light modifications. The first stanza goes to the chorus.

From Poem:
In our minds, we think we’re right,
We think we know, we think we’re saints.
In our minds, we are too fast,
We are to blame.

To Lyrics:
In our minds, we think we’re right,
We think we know.
In our minds we think we’re saints,
We are too fast.

The song’s lyrics:

(chorus)
Take a minute and look into my eyes,
Get closer and give me a hug,
For a moment in your life
Don’t judge me, don’t pull me apart.

Don’t judge me, don’t pull me apart.

(verse)
You say you see me now, you say
You say you got me right, you say
Down the road of our lives,
A change is coming.

I’m human, with good and bad
And, like you, I am alive.
Mercy on me, mercy on us
Who can say what is right?

Who can say what is right?

(chorus)
Take a minute and look into my eyes,
Get closer and give me a hug,
For a moment in your life
Don’t judge me, don’t pull me apart.

For a moment in your life
Don’t judge me, don’t pull me apart.
(verse)
I’m not afraid to close my eyes
What the hack is wrong with us?
We quickly judge, and do not trust
No second chance, we decide.

No second chance,
We decide.
